Hi all, first time poster, must admit a complete n00b when it comes to linux/linpus.

I'm trying to install XP using an external cd drive on my acer but i'm having boot problems. I have set the cdrom as top priority and while it attempts to boot via the cdrom, it fails and linux starts up. I get a message saying memory overflow while it attempts to boot. The drive boots perfectly fine on my gfs acer which had XP pre-installed.

    Any advice

    Thanks
