install xp pro from external cdrom on 150L

    Hi!
    I trying to find a guide on how to install xp pro from an external cdrom on AAO 150L(hard disk).
    Is it straightforward or should I check something before I proceed with the installation? Is SATA drive recognized without the need of SATA drivers? Should I nlite the xp pro cd?

    It's pretty straight forward, install normally. The SATA on the AAO is emulated as IDE. And no need to nlite since you have th HD version, so space limitations. Cheers.

    Do you know if XP Pro SP1 is ok or should I use SP2 or higher? I have heard something about not installing
    from external sources with SP1...Is this true???
