installed Acers FireFox3 but it's not there?

    I downloaded and installed FireFox3 from Acer's official downloads but after installing I'm still using FF2. How comes? I assured the download is right (40 MB), extracted the file and installed it, all went OK but it looks life FF3 is simply not there.
    Can anyone tell me what probably went wrong? I also downloaded and installed Acers SKYPE which works fine.

    I'm a regular reader of macles and I already read his guide to install ff3. However I would like to use the Acer software.

    acer The exact thing happened to Me, I downloaded it from the site, I followed the instructions
    it went through the motions but I still have firefox2
    Is there a simple way to correct this
