installed itunes-now im dead

    i have a brand new aspire one ten inch
    few things

    always asks i create a recovery disk but theres no cd drive

    number two i installed itunes and it either shows the xp load bar constantly
    or it opens to black screen but last known good config wont load either

    safe mode or safe w/ networking
    it freezez/hangs as soon as it reaches the mode
    so i cant even uninstall itunes

    im so annoyed

    any ideas?

    read the manual, there is a xp recovery hidden partition in the hard drive i beleive.

    well i wonder...

    ive read it it didnt seem to be able to recover me from where i am which is xp wont load :?

    still no help

    i am so frustrated

    hours on hours of reading

    e recovery wont work
    it said i have a hal.dll missing which the internet says prolly not
    just the boot.ini menu values are wrong

    and its a known problems dont have

    what am i sposed to dooooo *crying*

    i dont need discs
    netbooks dont have cd drives-!!

    and its not the sytem its the bios utility or what??

    im so annoyed

    Sorry to read about your troubles.

    I'm afraid I don't have an answer other than to ask if you can send it back under warranty and get it fixed or get a replacement ?
    You called it 'brand new' so hopefully that is an option.

    Is D2D enabled in the BIOS, if it is disabled the recovery routine will fail.

    I saved that entire folder to a SD card. It's 9mb though. Can 9mb be e-mailed?
