installing aircrack-ng

    how do i download and install aircrack-ng on my aspire one a step by step guide would be fantastic :cry: :cry: :cry:

    Why don't you just try BackTrack 3? It's has a load of networking tools for you to use.

    aircrack-ng is in the add/remove section...next to airsnort and all the other wep/wpa cracking tools.

    I can only get version 0.9.3 this way, and not latest 1.0.RC1 !? :roll:

    Try backtrack 3, even if you install aircrack under linpus injection won't work.

    Correct! Injection won't work, even with Aircrack-ng-1.0-RC1 installed.
    Booting BT3 from USB works like a charm!
