installing Coldfusion8 .bin

    installing .bin file...

    I've downloaded the Coldfusion installer from Adobe and so the .bin file is sitting in my downloads directory.

    Now trying to make it executable using +x but it says no command.

    How can I install this program?

    linux?
    maybe you should go look in the linux section
    theres a whole bunch of threads about installing stuff

    chmod +x whatever.bin

    thanks guys got it working. Success!

    needed to login as root, then change permissions on the file, then execute. Worked great!!!
