    Hi guys,

I've installed Comix and have been really impressed with it but I'm trying to get it to read .cbr files and I believe I need to have some sort of unrar program installed?

I've tried sudo apt-get install unrar but this came up as command not found. I'm guessing that I'm doing something fundamentally wrong, if some kind forum member could give me some advice I'd be most obliged!

    Hi Mercian,

Unrar is available using "Add/Remove Software" if you're using the xfce desktop...search for Unrar and just apply the change.

    Otherwise, in a terminal window:

    sudo yum install unrar

seems to do the trick just as well.

    Good luck!

    Ken...

Hi, thanks for the quick response.

Just to confirm, I'm using the standard xfce desktop. I tried putting that in the terminal and the it came back with No package unrar available. Nothing to do Any clues?
