I am trying to install a virtual machine on Linpus to create an xp virtual machine. VirtualBox and VMWare won't install cleanly. Anyone successfully accomplish this?

What do you mean by `won't install cleanly'? I would imagine that you'll need C development tools on your AA1 to install vmware, as the installer will need to compile kernel modules. But if it's failing before then, that's a different matter.

PS. I'd be very surprised -- pleasantly surprised -- if vmware worked reasonable well on the AA1. Presumably you have more that 512Mb RAM?

Sure -- I imagine it can be made to run. But my point is that it's unlikely to be particular useful on a machine with limited resources. But I'm prepared to be proven wrong.
