Installing Windows XP Home

    Hello - am new to the site and to be honest there is so much info on here that I do not know where to start.

    In a nutshell - I have an aspire one that came preinstalled withe Linpus Linux. Whilst the O/S is simplicity in itself.
    I would like to install Windows XP Home because of its familiarity.....

    So therefore how do I remove Linpus from my Aspire One and install Windows (I have the software and CD-ROM unit).
    Or alternatively, turn the machine into 'dual boot' (Windows and Linux).

    Apologies if this question has been asked before - but as I say I did not know where to start on the site......

    You posted on the correct area on the forum, you just did'nt try to read thru the threads hehe.... Dozens of Windows XP Home threads already.

    Are you on HD or SSD? If HD, install the usual way. The CD installation will prompt you to erase the existing partition.... if it's SSD, read thru the thread below:
