installing xp over linux

    I have , unintentionally, installed linux limpus but I am sick of it.. I want to install xp back but I cannot reach to the recovery partition by ALT+F10 . I think I have removed it:( I do not have external cdrom so i have to boot from usb. but i could not make usb bootable. PctoUsb does not recognize none of my usb sticks. I have the xp installation files in usb but it does not boot. please help me to turn to xp..

    But if your USB memory sticks are defective in some way, I don't think any instructions will help much. Buy a new one :) Not all USB sticks are bootable.

    PS. You have changed the AA1 BIOS settings to allow booting from USB, haven't you? Just a thought.
