I thought that I'd finally cracked it - I've managed to get One to recognise the USB stick and start the setup routines, but i'm now stuck on the error message:
"Setup cannot access the CD containing the Windows XP installation files."

Prior to that I'd deleted the Linux partitions and now have -
    c: Partitioned (NTFS) 7687MB
    u: Partitioned (FAT) 959MB
I chose c: for the XP setup, and accepted "Leave the current file system intact", assuming that some files must have already been transferred.

Should c: be formatted with FAT the same as u: (which I presume is my USB stick) ?
How do I get the installation files over to One?
    Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks, but nothing there helps resolve the problem.

Thanks. It's an ordinary Kingston 1GB High-Speed Flash Drive.
It has 191MB used - I'm just wondering whether that's enough - could the necessary files be missing?
