Intermittent fan with acerfand & bios 3309

    Have the fan fixed now with a kernel patch, it was pretty easy to install even for a noob like myself :)
    Running UNR 9.04 + Bios 3309

    Instruction used from: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/AspireOne

    scroll down to the section called: NOISE (FAN CONTROL) (10/09/09) + visit Peter Feuerers website over at:
    http://piie.net/?section=acerhdf

    and download his latest kernel patch for the AAO, I used acerhdf_kmod-0.4.0-3.tar.gz & it worked beautifully. Read the supplied Readme.txt for paramaters.

    Acer is running cool and quiet now, no lockups, hope this helps others on 3309
