Internal USB Mic for OS X?

    I have OS X installed on my AAO, and I'm pretty much using it full time. One of the few problems I have with it is that iChat does not work with the internal microphone. Even though the Mic is enabled, for some reason iChat and other video chat programs don't work with it. I was thinking of buying one of these:

    I want to install it internally, using the USB header under the hard drive. My question is this: Would I be able to wire the existing internal mic to this usb adapter, assuming that the mic elements both use the two-wire standard? Does anyone know where the existing mic's wires end up on the motherboard? Thanks
