Internet Explorer 8 - 280.exe has encountered a problem ...

    I am running IE8 on an aspire one with 1.5 GB ram. On some webpages, I get an error message saying that 280.exe has encountered a problem and stopped working. I can then no longer access the internet until I reboot the PC. It does not happen all the time - I can fill out this form on the AAO but I get the message when I try to submit the poting (this is from another PC). This has started to haooen recently and it is driving me mad. I have run three virus checkers which seem to show my machine is clean.

    I think 280.exe is a system file. SHould I reinstall IE8?

    Have now cleaner out the virus and all is well again. Thanks.
