iPod on Linpus and Windows

    Ok, i know this can upset some people but i use my AAO as a "light travel" laptop... I want to know if i can use my iPod on Linpus using gtkpod and it wont erase everything when i put it back on my usual Windows (F word) Vista laptop. (For whom care i use the Windows Laptop for my work and i can't change that)
