iPod problems... can you help me please?

    Hi there,

    Can anyone help me... I have been trying for about an hour with no joy to connect my cousins iPod to his new AAO. It's like the blind leading the blind here as I've only had mine just over a week! I've tried showing hidden files but can't even find the command. Also tried installind amarok and banshee but they keep encountering problems during installation and cancelling off.

    Any advice would be good.
