Hey I am a complete linux noob only learning on Linpus now and will move to others a lil later after I get some basics sorted.

One thing I am having alot of difficulty with is getting a IRC client. Which would people here recomend?

I am used to mIRC in windows and want one that is similar, currently have Irssi installed and can use it, but I have so many terminal windows open for all the channels I am on that it is just a mess.

Would also like to use one client with support for other IMs built in. Looked at kopete but I don't know if it will work on Linpus or how to actually install it if it does.

Any advice will be much appreciated.
