Anybody has tried to use an ironkey on the one?

It's a secure usb key with hardware encryption on-board. Works great on Windows and they are now supporting Linux as of this summer. I just got my key upgraded and there is now an "executable" under "linux"| on the unsecured portion of the key which should launch an unlocker to access the secured side of the key.

They claim it is supported for Fedora 8 & 9 so i suspect it should be close.. I tried from the filemanager, via the terminal, with root privilege..

I'm not a Linux wizz so I could use other suggestion to get this program running

    Anybody?

    Thanks,

    JF

What does it say when you run the program under the terminal?

Here is the output from the terminal

    [user@localhost linux]$ su
    Password:
    [root@localhost linux]# dir
    ironkey IronKey-TermsOfUse.txt LINUX-README.txt
    [root@localhost linux]# ironkey
    bash: ironkey: command not found
    [root@localhost linux]# sudo ironkey
    sudo: ironkey: command not found
    [root@localhost linux]#

Is there another command to launch ann executable?

    What can I say...

    [root@localhost linux]# ./ironkey
    Enter your IronKey password: ********
    Unlock successful.
IronKey device names are cd: /dev/sr0 hdd: /dev/sdb
    [root@localhost linux]#

    BIG thanks...

Just curious how I can get myself more educated... It sounds like based on what I read that Linpus is not a great platform to learn beause it's too restrictive?

    Anyway...
