Issues with error SD.exe

I have an acer aspire one. The computer screen will randomly turn black and it says silent dispatcher is not working. It also says SD.exe with a code. It gives and option to retry or cancel. If anyone has any idea how to fix these issues then please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Try to restore from an earlier point in windows to see if that will help. windows 7 goto start button bottom left and type restore follow instructions. Windows 8 top right search in the setting section type restore.

 

If you have windows 7, Microsoft, on its latest "Patch Tuesday" had an update for Windows security that caused the problem you mention if you had certain software installed. Last week, they put out a single update that corrects the problem. Try doing a restore from an earlier time and then go to the MIrcosoft website to see which update was the offending one.
