Nowadays I always assume that if a machine is connected to the net then there's always going to be some sort of data leakage. The link to the privacy tools on that page was pretty interesting, I didn't realise there were so many options available - I'm currently skim reading a few of those sites to see what they actually do!

So... what they said about Windows 10 making it easier than ever for Microsoft to collect data was not so true? Lol, and I thought I was safer! But didn't they say Windows 10 had a built in keylogger or something like that? Or am just very wrong? Something to do with Cortana?

No keylogger I SAID "WELL I WAS WRONG" THIS PORTION WAS AMENDED ON 04/09/2015

Microsoft wants your information, they will never put malicious code on anyone's
    machine.

It up to the user if they wish everything they do to be noted.

Microsofts reasons are to give the user a better experience, maybe more
targeted ads when you log on to the internet.

Don't forget all ads wanted, or not take up valuable internet resources.

Windows 10 does contain a keylogger

My apologies go to our member SEFIE

It seems THAT MICROSOFT has installed a keylogger in windows 10

    Here's how to avoid it

That is not nice at all! As you already know, my Window laptop has breathed its last! So, hopefully I can escape this wrath!

Nowadays every businesses and bill payment places demand for bill to be pay online to cut down the paperworks. I have always hate this idea, but didn't have a choice.

standing payment orders at the bank is a good idea, little online purchases except for those that have the lock icon, “and they must have a https site address”.

No online bank account or other savings accounts that require a pass number to access online.

Government “postal forms” not online forms

If you do need to do things online check them out using google earth

And you should avoid most problems.
