It's Working!!!

    I finally got the Alt-F10 recovery to work and it seems to have fixed whatever was causing the system error. What a relief!! Thank goodness! I apologize for my rant but turning on a $370 device for the first time and having it crash immediately is pretty aggraviating... :oops:

    Sorry you had trouble, but glad you got it resolved. Acer does send out a few stinkers, but hopefully you won't have any other issues and will find yours a delight to use :)
