Hey, I got windows 7 all up and working, everything's been working great and my battery life has even gotten better.

however I've been recently shipped an ipod touch as a present, as such I figured its a good time to put itunes on my AAO, however it wont install.

The installer will open up, you go through the setup options, ect, but when you click the button to install it flicks the install screen only on fora moment, before jumping to the finish screen, saying it could not be installed correctly on the computer. I have tried many things, different download locations, new users, I was on with ipod tech support(who said I did pretty much everything) and we went as far as disabling all the windows services and restarting the computer. In the end they said they believe its something with the win7 install. But let me list out what I have done already

    -Fresh download
    -computer restart
-disabled all services, UAC, windows firewall, ect
    -no anti virus installed
-win7 all up to date(nothing optional updated though)
    -ran in admin mode
    -ran in XP compatibility mode
-same thing on a different user
-tried all combination's of options for the itunes installer, even creating the folders it was installing to for it
-never installed anything from itunes, so nothing to remove either

-it installs fine on my desktop(but my desktop isnt portable, really prefer the netbook for this : (
    -Also, its win7 Ultimate

Anyone got any ideas? I cant figure this out, and at the moment I dont have any reason to believe its the specific win7 install, due to having many other programs install correctly (utorrent, pidgin, open office and more)

Hope someone has any ideas. Sorry for any typing errors I missed editing out, keyboard is meh on my AAO and there is a replacement on the way..!
