Is this just a complaint, or do you want help?

If you'd like some help, give us a few clues: like what the error message says, and what game (on the web? where?) you are trying to play.

I've just tried a java game which worked without any problems on my machine, so it's not a universal problem.

Its when I try to play any of the yahoo games. The message says :
This game cannot be played using your current settings. Please, try the following:

    * Check to make sure that java is enabled in your browser. (learn more)
    * If you do not have java installed you may download it here.
    * To learn more about java support for browsers, visit our help pages.
I'm pretty sure I have java downloaded because when i go to the java website to verify it says I have 1.7.0 installed. both java and java scripts are enabled on firefox. Does anyone know how I can fix this problem?

Sorry to be slow - only just saw your post of early this morning.

http://games.yahoo.com/daily-games/sudokudaily is working for me; does that one work for you?

java.com believes that I also have java 1.7.0; my Firefox version is 2.0.0.14 (as originally installed on the One). about:plugins in Firefox tells me that java is handled by GCJ Web Browser Plugin 1.4. Is all this the same on your machine?
