kate not working

    kinda new to linux, I just installed Sidux and like it so far except im haveing a problem. When hit alt f2 then enter kdesu kate, i get the error "command "kate" not found" whats up with that? only thing i can think of would be a corrupt install. any ideas?

    That sounds like missing dependencies. Try
    Code:
    sudo apt-get install kate
    you might also try the sidux forums for sidux specific problems. ;)

    Isn't kate not being replaced by kwrite :?: You can try kdesu kwrite.
