kernel module for acerhdf

    I'm having the same problem. I've pasted the error message from the terminal here:

    dave@Aspire:~$ tar zxvf acerhdf_kmod-0.2.tar.gz
    acerhdf_kmod/
    acerhdf_kmod/Makefile
    acerhdf_kmod/acerhdf.c
    dave@Aspire:~$ cd acerhdf_kmod
    dave@Aspire:~/acerhdf_kmod$ make
    make -C /lib/modules/2.6.28sickboy-kuki/build SUBDIRS=/home/dave/acerhdf_kmod modules
    make[1]: Entering directory `/lib/modules/2.6.28sickboy-kuki/build'
    make[1]: *** No rule to make target `modules'. Stop.
    make[1]: Leaving directory `/lib/modules/2.6.28sickboy-kuki/build'
    make: *** [default] Error 2

    I'm sure it must be something very simple. Any help would be appreciated.
