keyboard lag

    I downgraded my Aspire One D255 from Windows 7 starter to Windows XP. Though even though everything is extremely zippy and fast, now the keyboard on the unit itself is laggy when typing, yet when I plug in a USB keyboard there's absolutely no delay at all. I've tried removing unnessery services and removing start ups I dont need, but no luck with the keyboard lag. The system appears to be running extremely fast, but still the keyboard built into the aspire one is still very laggy.

    Has anyone encountered this problem upon downgrading the Aspire One d255 to Windows XP?
