After upgrading the RAM i get problems with the keyboard. The cable on the back of it does not fasten as tight as I expected it to,
and not all of the keys work. if I take it apart and put it together again some other keys may not work. But I never get the whole
keyboard to work at once. The little black plastic piece doesn't look broken to me, but it doesn't keep the cable in place (i belive).
I've tried taping it down, but that doesn't help much..

    What do I do ??

first of all, make sure u don't remove the upper part of the connector. It should swivel up and down. While it's up, shove the cable and close it down. It should bite it and secure it good.

    Thanks for the tip.
I was sure the clip for the keyboard was different, and not the swiveling type because it fell right off when I removed the keyboard.
After comparing the connector on the mousepad and the keyboard, I was able to see how it should be and pop it back in place.
It now swivels, holds the cable in place and the keyboard works perfectly, thanks !!

spikeymike: good luck with fixing your keyboard too.

The white lever on the middle of the board swivels up an down (right to up)

Plug the cable of the keyboard into the right side then press the lever down into the cable.

Make sure it is in deep or you will have problems with feedback.

I was trying to place the black piece on the ribbon after it was in the connector but the black piece needs to go in first

You want to slide the smaller side that has the slots between the pins then pivot it up. Make sure that the slotted, smaller side is lower than the handle side, this makes sense when you are holding the black piece. This will allow a tight fit and secure connection after it's then pressed back down. My n, m and l keys were not responsive but everyhting looks fine now.
