Laptop MEM UpGrade

    I just want to know if I can use an 8GB DDR3 on my Dell Inspiron3521 with a 500GB HDD.
    I guess what I also wanted to know is how would more memory affect my machine?
    My current memory is 2GB and I want to upgrade to at least 4 GB.

    Well I'm assuming you're going to use a 8GB RAM stick to try and upgrade your laptop's memory right? You'll have make sure your laptop supports that specific memory stick format, if it doesn't accept it then you've just bought those sticks for decoration. More memory would allow your computer multitask more easily, more apps can be opened at once and load times should be lowered since there's more memory for your computer to access quickly.
