Is there a windows OS laptop with 128 GB Ram, or is there a barebones laptop that can accomodate 128 GB Ram? Serious question. No trolling please. Thanks

    I've not seen a laptop that supports 128GB memory unfortunately, 64GB is do-able on high end ones (4 x 16GB DDR4) - but that's the max I've seen before.

Yeah that's what I figured. I'm also trying to find a website where I can find a high end barebones laptop. None of the ones I've found have what I'm looking for. Not even close. Any suggestions?

You may find that some of the high-end business models from Dell / Lenovo do something close enough. MSI have high end models that come with 64GB RAM, which you may be able to customise somewhat.

I've been comparison shopping MSI, Acer, & Alienware gaming laptops. Those seem to be the top 3 brands in that class. The closest I've found to what I want is MSI, but it's $5000. My budget is $3000. That's why I'm looking at barebones. My logic is that it will be less costly if I buy components separately, and build it myself. I haven't looked into Dell / Lenovo business models, but I will now. Thing is, I would imagine that business laptops are pretty pricey.
