I have installed wine 0.9.47 via ad and remove software. No higher version is available when i try to update via yum. Where can I find a newer version / repository for a newer version?

    Thank you in advance.

If you want the latest version (1.1.6), you'll need to build it yourself from the source. However, the Wine version in the Fedora 8 repositories was recently updated to 1.1.5, so if you previously installed an earlier version, you can update it with:

    Code:
    sudo yum update wine
You will of course first need to update the repositories as explained in macles blog above.
