    Hey AAO users

I have been looking through this forum, but can't find a guide or something else hinting that it is easy to install MikTex ( or another LaTeX) and an editor as TexMaker. Have any of you tried this? Or is it just straight forward?

TeTeX (and I believe TeXMaker) is in the Fedora 8 repo.

Okay, thanks :) I'm new to linux and not getting my AAO before tomorrow. But LaTeX and TexMaker ( or TeTex if that is just as good) is important to me and just wanted to be sure that it wasn't a problem running it on my AAO.

You can install GNU TeXmacs from the Advanced Menu (Add/Remove Programs) with Guile and TeteX installed as dependencies.
