When using the 7440 in Tablet mode, the screen will not rotate to portrait mode. I am running Windows 11 with the latest BIOS. There is no reference to a bios setting that can change this. My wife is running Windows 11 on her new HP 2 in 1 and has no issues turning the laptop in a full tablet mode. She has the "rotation lock" in System>Display which is greyed out but shows as "on". I don't have this option in my Display settings. I have used Chat GPT to try to see whats missing but there is nothing tin the Device Manager that corelates with the suggestions in Chat GPT except for the registry entry at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\AutoRotation. This says "enabled" with a value of "1".

Can anyone throw some light on why the auto-rotate function just doessnt show on my Latitude?
