??? wbarconf just write your choice in this file : .wbar (in your home path)
    /home/user/.wbar

    Remove it ?
    Code:
    rm /home/user/.wbar
Any way , how do you launch wbar ? because I don't understand why you say "wbarconf is interfering with the start-up script" .. ?

    Bye

Can't seem to launch an application from Wine using Wbar. Does anyone know how? Thanks

    Solved:
Put your wine command line into a text file.
Put the text file in some directory e.g. /usr/bin/.
Reference this text file from the wbar config file, dot.wbar. In the command line, put something like this: /usr/bin/name_of_text_file to launch the application.

    All installed ok.

But when I issue the 'wbar' command in the terminal I seem to be in some kind of 'shell' & none of the usual commands work.
No Launch Bar on the desktop either.
    Any ideas ?

Everything works out well while installing until i type : "sudo make install" then it looks like this.

    [user@localhost wbar-1.3.3]$ sudo make install
    if [ "`whoami`" != "root" ]; then \
echo "You must be root to install"; \
    exit 1; \
    fi
    install -d /usr/share/wbar
    make: install: Command not found
    make: *** [install] Error 127

What am I doing wrong? I'm quite new to linux so please explain thoroughly.
