    Hi all,

I have a Toshiba Libretto I am going to get rid of and could get myself an Aspire One A110 instead.

I run my libretto (with almost dead internal battery) from an external 12V lead acid battery, eventhough the supplied power adapter puts out 15V.

So my question is: Can I run an Aspire one (a110 or whatever model) from 12V instead od 19V (which is what the supplied Acer power adapter puts out) ? Has anyone tried?

Certainly you can use a 12 volt (cigarite lighter) power adapter that they sell on ebay. Works well on my AOA for car trips.

Off course, but that wouldn't be very efficient. I want to directly connect the 12V battery to the DC input of the Aspire One.

(The battery is intended for use in planes and trains.)
