Not every time but frequently I can't get on line due to "limited or no connectivity" from my wireless system. If I unplug the router for a few seconds and then plug it in, I'm up and running in no time. As the router is in the basement this "fix" is a hastle. I've used the Winsock thing to no avail.

Interestingly, when my wife is using her AAO at the same time I am, sometimes we both can get on, sometimes just one of us and sometimes neither of us. I can't seem to uncover any pattern.

I'd like to think that I don't have some setting checked or I have checked something that shouldn't. At any rate this is starting to drive me nuts - a heck of a way to begin a new year.

If any body has any insght that would be helpful, I'd be most grateful.

I can suggest only to review all settings like MAC address filtering, security settings in router. You can also look at power settings in OS and make sure there is no battery saving mode active. In my Linksys router I had some problems with ADSL modem - when it failed I had limited or no connectivity within Wi-Fi so you may try verify ADSL works fine. As a last thing you can RESET router to factory settings and set it up again...
