linpus + ad-hoc help

    i have an AA1 with the 16G SSD running Linpus, and a Windows Mobile phone that has the unlimited data package. i have installed an application on the phone that allows me to share the phone's 3G broadband over wifi, but only in ad-hoc mode- not ap. the built-in software on the aa1, to the best of my knowledge, doesn't allow for anything but ap connectivity. please forgive my ignorance, but i don't really know anything about linux- i have used windows for the past 10 yrs and im looking to expand my horizons. any help is greatly appreciated! thanks in advance.
