Linpus and updates

I'm happily using an AA1 110. I'm just wondering how active Linpus is in maintaining its distro? Being used to plenty of updates on Ubuntu (three in the last week), I don't see to much activity. I know that there might be a lower need as it comes with less software, but still. And Linpus being based on FC7 (if I'm not mistaken) which is no longer be supported does not help either. Anybody any thoughts about this?
