    I don't know anything about the new Linpus Lite, but I was intrigued by the QuickOS on the same link. Claims to have "Six seconds instant-on." As for the Linpus LIte, the screenshots don't do much for me -- too elaborate.

    1.4 looks intriguing.

    Did Acer drop support? When I select update I don't get the update for 1.3.

    A lot of people here comment to upgrade to Ubuntu, but I quite liked the simplicity and out-of-the-box working of Linpus.
