linpus netbook identity

    I have recently added a Linpus netbook to the network which is part copper and part wireless. Each windows based unit has "computer name" regardless of operating system or connection.
    The Cisco router connects and services the netbook as identity "unknown" without problems, but it would be nice if I could name the unit, as there is a possibility of more being added to the network, and a plethora of "unknowns" is not a good idea.
