    Hi!

I recently installed Windows XP on my AAO ZG5 (with 8gb ssd), but was unhappy with it. Now I'm trying to revert back to Linux Linpus. I have made a bootable USB-flashdrive with the recovery disk on it. When booting to USB I get the "Acer Aspire One" text on the screen with the load bar underneath it, however the load bar doesn't move at all, even when left for an hour. Is the USB recovery disk faulty? Or could the fact that I replaced the Linux partition with Windows one be causing a problem?

Does WinXP still boot if you don't have the flash drive plugged in? If so, then my best guess is that for some reason your bootable flash drive isn't actually bootable, and I'd just try recreating it. Not sure what to suggest if XP won't boot.
