Does the AA1's build of Fedora allow you to boot in single or any other 'recovery' mode?

The other day my keyboard and mouse just stopped working although everything else was fine. In the end I reinstalled from a recovery USB stick, but it would have been nice if there was a failsafe boot option that might have given me the chance to sniff around.

    Thanks

Possibly, you can bring up the GRUB menu by pressing the tab key immediately after the BIOS screen (you have to be quick though, GRUB is set to a 0 second timeout), there aren't any recovery options, but I guess it should boot into single user mode if you append "1" or "single" to the kernel line, I haven't tested this though. What I did was add the files and a GRUB entry for Puppy Linux so I have an alternative boot option.

Actually getting into single user mode appears very difficult on the stock Linplus install. I managed to get xfce into a black desktop screen with now way out to a vty so figured I would just boot into single user mode. Nope. I tried appending these various methods to the kernel boot options: -s, single, init=single, init=/bin/bash All resulted in a kernel panic or it just ignoring the option and starting X, once again blocking me from accessing any terminal. Nice.

Lucky I have that Ubuntu USB stick handy . . .
