Linux Mint is the shiznit! (no AA1 content)

    My parent's 5 year-old Dell desktop has been driving them nuts. SLOWER THAN DEATH.

    After spending half a day attempting to re-install XP and fighing some sort of registry cleaner software my father regrets ever falling for, I finally nuked XP and replaced it with...

    ...LINUX MINT 7 ("Gloria")

    Machine now runs like it's on steroids! :D

    I'm really digging the Mint! Excellent desktop distro!
