    Hi bluenose5

If you mean my Aspire one, it is Linpus and that is based on Fedora. If you mean your Aspire one then that will be the same as mine unless you have changed since you bought it. I also have Ubuntu but I boot that from a USB as to date I have found no great reason for me to change what is on my AA0.
Does you name signify what I think?

    Best wishes

    Hi dataway and bluenose5

Linpus Linux Lite v1.0.9.E ----------this is what is in /etc/linpus-release.

    Fedora release 8 (Werewolf)
Kernel \r on an \m ----------this is what is in /etc/issue.

When I first got my Aspire I foolishly thought Linux was one operating system, was I wrong.

    Best wishes
