linux version?

    hi guys

    im on week two of my aa1, and am lovin it! ive been a big user of xp and wanted to dabble with linux, I think this forum is great and ive used it to get into the advanced mode of the linpus.....but i ant help noticing that the version of the linux is 1.something where as the version on the linpus site is a bout 9.5 for the linpus lite.... has anyone installed this version, if so whats it like?

    There is a download available of a "9.x live CD" I used it and was not impressed.
    Yes it can be loaded onto the One (with a bit of mojo), but I did not bother, various items of H/W were not directly supported.

    By all means try the Live CD, no real harm to be done. BTW it took ages to download from the site.
