    Can anyone tell me the easiest way to get rid of this Linux and load windows. I can't live with this, I have tried for two months and have given up and put it on the shelf.

    If you have a windows version (initially) then you can use the restore disk (it will overwrite everything on your had disk).
    Otherwise just do a normal windows installation and when you are in the partitionner just use the linux partition it will be overwriten with windows.
