live update 180090

    Has anyone d/l update 180090 successfully?
    What is it? Is it the full package?
    I would like to download amsn to replace messenger having tried it on a eeePC and am having the usual messenger problems.

    Update shot my A110L unuseable:

    Internal Error - failed to initialize HAL!
    No Network devices: No Wireless, no ethernet!
    Live Update History "Die Aktualisierungsliste kann nicht abgerufen werden" (german system)

    I recommend not to update your A110L.

    Did the Update again, after Restore. Seems it was a problem on the update procedure.

    Works for me now. But I don't know what it does.

    Not a lot of people have tried it then..
    I must admit my d/l of 180090 didn't work first time...
    would like to know what the patch does if anyone can shed some light on the subject?

    It simply installs amsn. And I'd say, it works :)
