live update.

Am i right in assuming that Live Update is down? I cant update my brand new acer aspire one!

 

I hope you were right. I bought my AS-1 today and I'm very unhappy because I found the same problem.

Let's try tomorrow.

 

i think you're right. i haven't been able to get on all day either.

 

live update is not working for me either ATM ... hopefully acer will resolve this matter shortly.

 

Me too. I guess they have a problem.

 

Got mine this morning and as of tonight there were about 16 updates that automatically popped up to install. Some were for the updater itself, rest for apps and some hardware. Couple reboots later (seems too much like windows!) and all is well. Something killed by wireless key thought. Had re-enter that manually.

Wife turned green with envy when I sat down beside here with my little lappy. First words: I want one. She didn't even know what it was!

 

seems to be working here again also.

hopefully that thing won't go down too frequently.

I have success this morning.
But the package updater seems toget similar problems. I get several errors resolving dependencies for update. It's just me this time?
