Live Updates and 3G issues

    Please help. I bought a Acer One AOA150. I am frustrated as I am using a 3G modem but cannot load the mobile partner as i need to do live updates which I tried to do wirelessly but the one patch gives me "I/0 file cannot be read" error.

    Have you tried wired LAN??

    Yes I have.
    When I do the Live updates, it actually shuts down all internet access while busy downloading the patches, and then gives me the error message above
