loading any new program

    i am trying to load voipcheap how do i do it. i have downloaded it from the net but how do i run it on my aspire one using linex.
    please help

    What exactly did you download?

    The voipcheap FAQ indicates that you should be installing linphone for this purpose: linphone is available in the add/remove software function. If you haven't found out how to use that yet, look at this HowTo post.

    If you've downloaded the software from the voipcheap site, you presumably just missed the Windoze logo next to the bit saying 'System Requirements'. It won't run on Linux, which is presumably why they provide specific alternatives for Linux.
