Lockup on battery, good on AC

    I have a Linpus Linux Lite 1.03 Acer one 110 zg5. It has an 8gb ssd with bios 3309.

    When it is not plugged in, it locks up. I need to pull the battery to reset. When it is plugged into the wall, no problems.

    Is my portable not portable?

    Any suggestions?

    Hmm.....

    Is this a hardware problem? Software? If it locks up when on the battery, but never when plugged in, I assume that it is a hardware problem.

    Any help?

    Only thing I could suggest at this point would be to try another battery. Maybe update the BIOS as well.

    Hmm.... I will check for updated bios. Then backup to USB. Then try updating with the suggestion from Macles. I might try another distribution of Linux. Ubuntu. I do not have another battery.
